Terms of Service

The Spanish Breeze Language Academy

 

  1. Enrollment and Booking
  • Registration: A booking is considered formal once the registration form is submitted and the deposit or full tuition fee is received. You will also receive a confirmation from the team at The Breeze Academy. 

  • Placement Tests: Students may be required to take a level assessment. The Academy reserves the right to place students in the class level most appropriate for their skills.

2. Payment Terms

  • Fees: All course fees must be paid in full at least 7 days before the course start date.

  • Currency: Payments are to be made in EUR (€) via Credit Card

  • Late Fees: The Academy reserves the right to cancel a booking if payment is not received by the deadline.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Student Cancellations: * Cancellations made more than [30] days before the start date: Full refund minus a € 40 administration fee.

    • Cancellations made [7–29] days before the start date: [50%] refund.

    • Cancellations made less than [7] days before or after the course has started: No refund.

  • Academy Cancellations: If the Academy cancels a course due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or credit for a future course will be offered.

4. Attendance and Absence

  • Missed Classes: No refunds or "make-up" classes are provided for sessions missed by the student due to illness, travel, or personal reasons.

  • Public Holidays: The Academy is closed on local public holidays. These classes are typically not rescheduled or refunded unless otherwise stated in the course description.

5. Course Changes

  • The Academy reserves the right to change instructors, or modify the timetable to ensure the best learning environment.

6. Code of Conduct

  • Students at the course are expected to behave respectfully toward staff and fellow students.

  • The Academy reserves the right to expel any student who engages in harassment, illegal activities, or persistent disruption, without a refund.

7. Liability and Insurance

  • Personal Property: The Academy is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal items on the premises.

  • Health Insurance: Students are responsible for their own health and travel insurance while attending in-person courses.

8. Additional marketing of the Breeze Academy

  • The Academy may take photos or videos during classes for promotional use. Students who do not wish to be featured must notify the Academy in writing upon enrollment.

9. Data Protection (GDPR/Privacy)

  • Your personal data will be used solely for enrollment and academic purposes and will not be shared with third parties, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
