A word from Fernando, co-founder and head of teaching
My name is Fernando, and I hold a university degree in Teaching with a
specialization in foreign languages, particularly Spanish as a Foreign
Language.
For more than 30 years, I have been teaching my native language to
thousands of students from all over the world — and I can honestly say
that I still love it as much as the first day. Teaching Spanish is not just my
profession; it is my vocation.
Three years ago, I began a professional training in coaching. Although
the formal program lasted two years, for me this path never truly ends,
because I believe that in this field there is always more to learn, explore,
and integrate.
I chose coaching because, after many years of teaching Spanish, I
realized something essential: my students needed much more than
grammar and vocabulary.
They needed emotional support, confidence, and inner strength to truly
use the language.
Over time, I saw that many learners struggle with:
- Fear of speaking
- Fear of making mistakes
- Fear of being judged or rejected
- Fear of failure
- Low confidence and self-esteem
They also needed to:
- Enjoy the learning process
- Feel capable and empowered
- See real-life usefulness in what they learn
- Discover that learning a language is also mental and emotional training
- Realize that it is never too late to learn something new
- Feel that they are working toward something meaningful
Learning a language opens doors: To ask for something in a restaurant,
to explain how you feel to a doctor, to complete a form, to ask for directions,
to make new friends.
For all these reasons, together with my friend and colleague Henrik, we
created this academy: a place where academic excellence and
emotional support come together.
Here, students don’t just learn Spanish — they grow in confidence, clarity, and self-belief, in a relaxed and inspiring environment,
